MAT Cricket Tournament

We hosted the Acorn MAT cricket tournament at the end of April.

In our pool, we were up against Marshwood and Membury.

We beat Marshwood by 19 runs and then beat Membury by 27 runs.

The winners of the other pool were Axminster, who had more batting points overall and therefore won the event.

We came in 2nd place and won some silver medals.

A huge thank you to three of our pupils who volunteered to play for Membury so that their school could join in. What fantastic sportsmanship you all showed.

Our children all demonstrated some incredible bowling, batting and fielding during the tournament - well done!
